How do you maintain healthy eating habits when you cook meals? Can you tell us about your meal plan?

One of the most exciting yet practical things that I do with JP at the beginning of the week is to do the Meal Planning. We both make suggestions and compromise on a balance of nutrition, taste and variety so he doesn’t get bored easily. When you know exactly what you’ll be having for the rest of the week, you lessen the stress of having to worry about spoilage of ingredients in the fridge and having your kid come home from school with an uneaten lunch. Even his classmates look forward to seeing what JP has for lunch and since he’s very generous (with everything else except Salmon Sushi and Buffalo Wings), JP will sometimes come home from school starving because everyone would ask for a sample of his food (which I secretly think is so cute and such a compliment to me).
